This conscious energy that is all around and forms part of our being comes from Source Energy. It is this source of energy that is given a name such as God.
The creation of ego
This conscious source of energy created itsself and because it was all love it wanted to create more so it extended itself by sending out sparks of consciousness that were little pieces of itself. These sparks thought they were separate so they began to create their own consciousness that was separate from source. They began to feel individual. This individuality and separateness was the start of our ego consciousness. From creating their own thoughts which could now be both negative and positive they needed a body in order to house their consciousness which was now half ego and half higher self or God self. By having a body now also meant that likes and dislikes could be created on a materialistic level and of course the body could be physically hurt. The ego is therefore self-made from our incorrect perception that we are separate from source. Our higher self / soul is our real self.
Creations of Source
We were created by source / God and therefore in the likeness of source / God. This source of energy is perfect and all loving so we are therefore perfect and loving like source. However because we believe we are separate from source and that this energy source lives outside us we have created our ego self for protection and survival. We have two selves. Our higher self and our ego self. Our higher self is perfect and whole. This is what source / god sees. It does not recognise our ego self which is full of fear and negative thoughts and suffering. To recognise it would mean that the source / god would have to recognise that it was not whole and perfect as well. It only recognises our higher self, which is of its own creation. Because god does not recognise our ego self he cannot communicate with us here so when we are in our ego selves we do not feel close to source / God. The more we live through our higher self the closer we will feel to this source.
